The dark timber runs between the different areas and connects them, and the stone wall adds presence and texture while staying in its place. The stairs, with their combination of iron and timber, become one of the most prominent elements in the house and bring a clear graphic line against the softness of the stone, the plaster and the textiles.

The large openings let the planting and the view be present from inside the house too, and the natural light shifts through the day across the stone, the timber and the plaster. The boundary between inside and outside becomes softer, and the house takes on an open, easy feeling.
